Adult and Pediatric CPR / AED and BLS (skills session only)

This course is for students who have completed the Adult Child and Baby First Aid, CPR / AED and BLS online courses. Upon successful completion, students will receive a valid 2-year American Red Cross digital certificate that is Occupational Safety and Health Administration compliant and meets other workplace and regulatory requirements. First Aid for Severe Trauma® (FAST™) 

This training provides students with the knowledge and skills they need to respond to an emergency involving life-threatening bleeding, including how to recognize a life-threatening bleeding emergency, ensure safety and communicate effectively in an emergency, and control life-threatening bleeding using direct pressure a tourniquet or both. Skill Boost: Anaphylaxis and Epinephrine Auto-Injector Administration

This training provides individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize anaphylaxis and provide care to a person experiencing anaphylactic shock by administering medication until advanced Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel arrive to begin care for the person. (60 minutes in-person classroom-based). *Prices may vary as discussed with our training manager.

Skill Boost: Asthma and Quick-Relief Medication Administration

This training provides individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize an asthma attack and offer care to a person experiencing an attack by administering medication until advanced EMS personnel arrive to begin care for the person. This module includes the demonstration of, and skill practice session and assessment scenario for, administering quick-relief medication using an inhaler with a spacer. In addition, optional content is available for administering quick-relief medication using a nebulizer device. Skill Boost: Opioid Overdose and Naloxone Administration

Helps individuals recognize an opioid overdose and trains them on how to administer naloxone via the nose (nasal spray or nasal atomizer). For this skill boost, if participants are not certified in CPR, they must complete skill practice in compression-only CPR for this skill boost. Skill Boost: Life-Threatening Bleeding and Tourniquet Application

This course provides individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize life-threatening bleeding and give care to a person with life-threatening bleeding until advanced EMS personnel arrive to begin care for the person. This skill boost addresses the need for training in the use of direct pressure, applying a tourniquet and wound packing. (60 minutes in-person classroom-based). *Prices may vary as discussed with our training manager.

Skill Boost: Head, Neck, Muscle, Bone, and Joint Injuries and Splinting

Helps individuals recognize and care for head, neck, and spinal injuries, as well as muscle, bone, and joint injuries—it includes the need for training in the use of a rigid splint and a sling and binder. This skill boost also includes optional training in the use of a vacuum splint. (90 minutes in-person classroom-based). *Prices may vary as discussed with our training manager.
